Conor is first and foremost a technology leader who has a wealth of experience in product development  and commercialising product.  Conor earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and began his career journey as a site manager for a 5th Framework European project with Airbus and principal investigator with SPS Technologies in the US aerospace sector.  Conor co-founded Mcor Technologies in 2005 with a vision to democratise innovation with his pioneering 3D printing technology based on paper-based Selective Deposition Lamination (SDL) technology. As Mcor CEO he led the company to the launch of 4 flagship products and raised $20 million dollars investment from both angel and VC investors. Conor is also experienced with the local enterprise boards and Enterprise Ireland which is very key for any new start up in Ireland.   Mcor achieved worldwide recognition and demand and developed a valuable distribution network of 150 dealers across 50 countries. Over the years Mcor also won many competitions and awards, including All Ireland Seedcorn Competition (overall winner), Ulster Bank Business Achievers Award (overall winner), Brand Award in 2013 and Best of Innovation at CES in 2016.  Conor is the co-inventor of 13 worldwide patent families and proficient in patent filing and maintenance.  He is a highly experienced conference speaker and thought leader and seasoned in media relations including coverage on Fox News and in Forbes, Fortune, BBC and Motley Fool to name but a few. 

Deirdre is a creative business leader with an eye for product marketing and brand building. With  well-rounded business know how she has an entrepreneurial approach to business specialising in commercialising product.  Early on in her career Deirdre moved to New York where she worked with companies such as Panavision New York and Golden Books Entertainment. Upon her return to Dublin she earned her Masters in Advertising in 1999 and the Conlon Memorial Medal for excellence in same and then pursued a career in advertising working in client handling on brands such Carlsberg, Cadbury’s and Colgate Palmolive. Deirdre co-founded Mcor Technologies in 2005 and was instrumental in bringing their unique 3D printing technology to market. Working closely with her two technical co-founders she identified an ability to translate the technical prowess of the company into a strong positioning statement which catapulted the company to global recognition. She became the brains behind the launch of 4 flagship products and the architecture of a strong distribution channel. Winner of several awards Deirdre became a Silver Stevie Award Winner for Women in Business, in the category of Female Executive of the Year, Business Products in 2015 and named in the top 10 of the top 30 most influential women in 3D printing by All3DP in 2016 and 2017. Other acclaimed awards include an industry Brand Award in 2013 and the Best of Innovation at CES 2016. Over her years at Mcor she was responsible for international media coverage including Fox News, Forbes, BBC and Motley Fool.
